About me
I am different than other candidates based upon my personal and professional experience. I served in the US Army Reserve for 10 years and have earned a Bachelor's of Science (Alabama State University), Master's of Science (Auburn University at Montgomery) and a Juris Doctorate (Birmingham School of Law). My professional experience includes ten years with the Alabama Education Association as a UniServ Director, six years as a Human Resources Officer and Chief of Staff, and a little more than eight years as a Deputy Council Administrator. Across my career, I have played an active role in addressing complex issues like wage and hour disputes, contract negotiations, compliance, grant writing, reduction in force, policy development, crisis management, and research and evaluation.

A Strong Voice for Helena
The City of Helena is a great place to live and raise a family. As the city continues to grow, the city council’s legislative authority must be present and utilized for ordinary citizens. My military service, work within municipal government, and overall professional experience will help me achieve this goal.
